Paws for a Cause

SMART will no longer charge pet deposits. Instead, SMART will increase the security deposit to 1.5x the rent. Pets are NO LONGER a consideration for additional security; funds are built into the standard security deposit.

Additionally, tenants who have a FICO score of 700 or higher and do NOT have any pets will receive a discounted security deposit equal to 1-month's rent (not retro-active).
